Kurinuki Workshop 3/20
Kurinuki Workshop 3/20
Join us for a one night handbuilding workshop where we will explore kurinuki. Kurinuki is a subtractive process that involves hollowing a solid clay form to obtain interior space. For some it can be slow and meditative. All participants will receive a chunk of clay and carving tools. All participants get to leave having created two works of art and can chose between a few glaze options.
Finished pieces will be glazed and ready for pick up in approximately two weeks.
Workshop includes one piece to be fired.
7pm-9pm
Cancellation policy: If you cancel 72 hours before the start of the single class you are allowed to transfer to a future single class for an extra charge of $25. This fee is per spot purchased by a single buyer. After the start of class there will be no transfers or refunds.
Due to a lack of storage we will only keep your finished work for two weeks after they are ready to be pickup up. They will be discarded after the two weeks.
