This is a six week beginning handbuilding class focusing on using coils to build ceramic forms. Your instructor will demonstrate how to use clay and take it through the varying stages and firing cycles to completion. This class will explore the many possibilities of coiling to achieve both functional and sculptural forms. No experience is required, some people will be brushing up on the basics of handbuilding and others will be totally new to the medium.
