Join Chang on Sunday afternoons for pottery throwing on the wheel!

This is 12 week beginner wheel class.

Chang will cover the basics of throwing on the wheel from coning, to centering, to opening and pulling and finishing through trimming, decorating, and glazing. No experience is required to take this class, all are welcome.

We will send notification when it is time to purchase clay for the upcoming session. Please DO NOT purchase more than one bag to start. Your clay will be at the studio on your first day of class. All clays except sculpture (420), dark brown sculpture (798) and terra cotta (108) are appropriate for wheel work. Tools are not included, you can purchase tool kits on the website or bring your own.

Each student will get up to two 2.5 hour time slots of open studio each week.
