Take beginner wheel with Zaina! You’ll learn the basics in this class!

This is a 12 week beginner wheel class.

Zaina will cover the basics of throwing on the wheel from coning, to centering, to opening and pulling and finishing through trimming, decorating, and glazing. No experience is required to take this class, all are welcome.

We will send notification when it is time to purchase clay for the upcoming session. Please DO NOT purchase more than one bag to start. Your clay will be at the studio on your first day of class. All clays except sculpture (420) terra cotta (108) and dark brown sculpture (798) are appropriate for wheel work. You can also purchase tools on the website.

Each student will get up to two 2.5 hour time slots of open studio each week.

Class meets Fridays at 7pm on the following dates:
April 11, 18, 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, June 6, 13, 20, 27
