Join Pedro Ramirez on Tuesday nights for pottery throwing on the wheel!

This is a 8 week class intended for intermediate potters who have previous experience on the wheel. Neriage is a process where clays of different colors are thrown on the wheel, it is possible to produce marbled effects that can be colorful or natural.

In this class, students will be shown how to stain stoneware with mason stains (not provided), and various methods of producing patterns and colorful works on the wheel.

Current students must have their own clay, tools, and stains, we will send notification when it is time to purchase for the upcoming session. These can all be purchased online. Your clay will be at the studio on your first day of class and stains can be purchased on our website. We will be using 130 white stoneware.

Each student will get up to two 2.5 hour time slots of open studio each week.

Class meets Tuesdays at 7pm on the following dates:
1/3, 1/10, 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, 2/14, 2/21
