Take beginner wheel with Zaina! You’ll learn the basics in this seven week class and you’ll also learn how to use underglazes.

Zaina will cover the basics of throwing on the wheel from coning, to centering, to opening and pulling and finishing through trimming, decorating, and glazing. No experience is required to take this class, all are welcome.

Current students must have their own clay, we will send notification when it is time to purchase for the upcoming session. Your clay will be at the studio on your first day of class. All clays except sculpture and terra cotta are appropriate for wheel work. You can also purchase tools on the website.

Each student will get up to two 2.5 hour time slots of open studio each week.

Class meets Fridays at 7pm on the following dates:
11/4, 11/11, 11/18, 11/25, 12/2, 12/9, 12/16
